A graduate in theory of music (diploma with honours) of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, where she also completed Postgraduate Studies in Music Therapy. Doctor of Music Art in the field of music theory. Assistant Professor at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, Deputy Rector for Evaluation and Development for the 2020–2024 term of office.
She has participated in conferences and seminars in, among others, Ankara, Katowice, Cracow and Wrocław. Her papers have been published by the Academy of Music in Wrocław, the University of Silesia, the Polish Society of Vocal Pedagogues, ‘Ossolineum’ and ‘Memory and Future’ Centre. She is the author of the books: Jan Antoni Wichrowski. Katalog tematyczno-bibliograficzny [Jan Antoni Wichrowski. A thematic-and-bibliographical catalogue] and Ryszard Bukowski. Człowiek i dzieło [Ryszard Bukowski. The man and his works]. She has been given the scholarship of the International Wagner Society and the award of the College of Rectors of Wrocław and Opole Universities. She is also the artistic director of the International Festival ‘Music at J. I. Schnabel’s’ in Nowogrodziec and the scholarly head of the conference ‘Joseph Ignaz Schnabel and His Epoch’. President of the Republic of Poland honored Aleksandra Pijarowska with the Silver Cross of Merit.
